A Little About Sunchaser Kennels

I began my career in dogs in 1973 when I purchased my first Golden Retriever. My breeder suggested showing and after a few impressive wins, I was hooked; not only by this wonderful breed, but by the whole confirmation, obedience bonding experience.

I continued to show and to breed Goldens for many years and still have a very limited breeding program today.

I am able to help direct people to the correct resources whenever they want to purchase a puppy of any breed and try to promote involvement with the local kennel clubs and breed organizations.

As a multiple dog owner, it was difficult for me to find boarding facilities and more important, to find quality services that I felt were important for my dog's well being when I had to be away.

With the simple belief that I could make a significant contribution, make a difference in the standard of care for pets, I opened Sunchaser Kennels in 1987.

Staff

Every staff member at Sunchaser is an adult, experienced care giver, dedicated to making sure that each pet is given ample time and attention. We have two Veterinary Technician's on staff to administer medications. All are trained to recognize signs of stress, unusual behavior or illness, and can work with the pet's immediately.

There is at least one staff member for each 20 pets at all times from 7:30 a.m. until 10:00 p.m., 365 days a year. They provide the interaction that assures each owner their pet will be happy and really enjoy coming back to see us again.
